CFB Playoffs

The Ohio State Buckeyes had the lead all but for one play taking down the Texas Longhorns at AT&T Stadium. They face Notre Dame for the National Championship.

With the 2024 college football season coming to an end with only 2 games left The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have punched their ticket to the CFB Playoff National Championship game against the winner of the Texas/Ohio State game. After an early season loss to NIU the Irish has been impressive since that loss. Congrats to the Irish on making it to the National Championship game.

With the 2024 playoffs almost over the question is being asked did the committee get it right? There were teams that despite records that didn’t belong in the playoffs. Some of the teams didn’t really play anyone all year long and when they did they got exposed. We all know what happened to SMU and Indiana. While Indiana had a great season they played no one all year long until they played Ohio State who exposed them. SMU didn’t really belong either cause they didn’t really play anyone either. There comes a point that the committee has to look past wins and losses and start looking at SOS and quality wins over quality opponents. Who cares if someone goes undefeated all ye…

Well the playing field has been narrowed down to the final four teams. There have been some ups and some downs this college football season. Some teams got in the playoffs that didn’t belong while others were snubbed. We all know that the system needs to be tweaked and fine tuned so we don’t keep having repeats of this season in the future. With all that being said who do you think wins it all? Me personally I’ve never been sold on the Fighting Irish but they are actually looking like a team that could potentially win it all so I’m going with the Irish.
